The kitchen is well equiped for selfcatering with fridge, electric cooker, iron and ironing board, washing machine, microwave, terrace table, chairs, etc.

 

In the lounge there is a sofa bed for extra guests.

 

The apartment benefits from all day sunshine with 2 balconies.

The inside balcony overlooks the large communal swimming pool and children's swimming pool with showers, seats, etc.

The larger outlying balcony overlooks preserved nature land with a meandering river further down, the 18 hole golf course to the right and left with a facing link path and other sporting facilities, principally tennis courts.

AYAMONTE/ ISLA CANELA AREA:

Ayamonte is a traditional, picturesque Spanish Town situated at the mouth of the Guadiana river. Its tranquil atmosphere facilitiates full appreciation of dining in- or outdoors, shopping, its two beautiful squares, local historical churches, etc. A great way to enjoy an afternoon is to find a seat at one of the many restaurants in the town square and enjoy the local cuisine & wines while watching the world go by.

 

There are many shops to visit and it is very enjoyable to wander around them in the evening and avail of late Spanish business hours.

 

Many highly colourful traditional, musical, religious and other festivals are presented locally and in the greater region. These can be checked out prior to departure or at the local tourist offices. They run from early spring right through to autumn.

Multiple boat trips can be arranged from the nearby Marinas and port area. You can take a trip up the Guadiana river and see and hear the history of the huge suspension bridge which links Spain to Portugal, while continuing on into the Spanish/Portugese hinterland on a trip that takes most of the day. There are also 10 minute ferry rides across to Portugal, or you can drive over the suspension bridge, for good value shopping for cloth and apparel in particular.

Seville - 75 minutes by car, motorway.
